We are looking to recruit an experienced cook for our Early Years School with a start date of September 2024.

Reporting to the Catering Manager, the ideal candidates should demonstrate;

  • Ability to provide a consistently high level of service to Kenton College pupils, staff and visitors
  • Good knowledge in menu and recipe creation suitable for Early Years aged children (3 – 5 years old).
  • Culinary expertise in hot kitchen and pastry cuisine
  • Knowledge of the Food Safety Act, and Health and Safety Regulations

Qualifications and Professional Experience

  • Minimum Certificate in Food and Beverage Management from a recognized institution
  • Minimum three years of work experience

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to work in a high-pressure environment both supervised and unsupervised
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with people from different cultural backgrounds
  • A team player with a willingness to work with a degree of flexibility
