County Government of Nyeri Public Health Assistant Job

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Mobilizing, sensitizing, and advising communities on matters related to environmental health; referring health cases to relevant health facilities;
  • Identifying environmental health issues at the household level;
  • Organizing community health days to advise communities on common public health issues; collecting and maintaining up-to-date records of services rendered; and
  • Assessing health records of the community.
  • Performing any other duty that may be assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements for Appointment.

  • Must be a Kenyan Citizen (Attach ID)
  • KCSE Certificate.
  • Certificate in either Environmental Health Science or Public Health Technology from a recognized institution;
  • Minimum of two years post-registration experience.
  • Valid practicing license from Public Health Officers and Technicians Council.
  • Proficiency in computer applications
