Bluetti Energy Technical & Repairs Officer Job

The Technical & Repair Officer is responsible for the all-incoming Quality Checks, (dis)assemble, repair, refurbishments and installation of Bluetti products (Solar Home Systems and power stations) as per defined processes and procedures. Technical and Repairs Officer will further be responsible for repair centre management, tools management, inventory control of work-in-progress items and spare components and first-level maintenance. Conduct any additional technical task as prioritized and instructed by the direct supervisor.

Responsibilities

  • Achieving targeted weekly, monthly and quarterly requirements in terms of conducting incoming quality checks for incoming shipments, assembling new systems, refurbishing items and repairing items. Visit customers with technical issues in the field to repair their systems and also install new systems (Power stations)
  • Manage and monitor the accurate performance of service centre tools: Test jigs, Testers (panel, battery), Soldering stations, Flashers and Multimeters, Battery recovery machines, Power stations, Power supplies, Float & Desulfation stands and other related tools.
  • Maintain and improve service centre activities and facilities; follow and adhere to departmental and organizational policies and procedures to maximize output.
  • Categorize and properly document all the tested returned system parts to ensure data accuracy (Physical and database)
  • Assemble new products according to Bluetti dis/assembling procedures and guidelines.
  • Clean and test all returned system parts (batteries and panels)
  • Categorize and properly document all the tested returned systems parts to ensure data accuracy.
  • Repair printed circuit Boards and appliances according to procedures and guidelines.
  • Check the quality of all refurbished components according to technical standards and requirements.
  • Visit customers with technical issues in the field to repair their systems and also install new systems (Power stations)

Knowledge and skills 

  • Solar technical knowledge.
  • Interpersonal skills.
  • Computer knowledge in the office suite.
  • Experience in using Database
  • Ability to ride a motorbike & a motor vehicle (Licenced)
  • Ability to plan and prioritise work.

Qualifications:

  • ≥3 years of working experience in technical roles related to solar (Solar technology, Battery technology, Solar controllers, Solar Panels and Test equipment, electrical and electronics repairs).
  • T2/T3 / ERC certification holder.
  • Hands-on experience in accurate soldering and other required repair services
  • Experience with operational improvement techniques (Kaizen and 6 Sigma, etc.) is a plus
  • Organization and interpersonal skills and a team player.
