Job Summary

INSIGHTSIQ SOLUTIONS is launching a dedicated patient support/assistance program for individuals battling cancer. This program is designed to ensure eligible patients can access their medications promptly and adhere to prescribed treatment plans. Participants will receive continuous support, including follow-ups, counseling, and assistance with medication delivery, enhancing their treatment journey.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Healthcare Provider Engagement: Visiting healthcare providers to explain the program and encourage their participation.
• Brand Loyalty Development: Promoting the program to build loyalty among healthcare providers.
• Patient Engagement: Onboarding patients into the program and offering support throughout their treatment journey.
• Distribution Management: Ensuring the timely availability and delivery of medications to patients.
• Pharmacovigilance: Reporting compliance and adverse events.
• Data Management: Maintaining databases for patients and physicians, including prescription tracking.
• Patient Support Services: Providing appointment reminders, facilitating access to medicines, and delivering patient education and psycho-social support.
• Operational Support: Developing program procedures, ensuring data protection compliance, and providing project management support.
• Education and Emotional Support: Delivering educational materials and offering emotional support to patients.

Qualifications:

• Education: Diploma or BSc in Nursing.
• Experience: Minimum of 1.5 years in oncology, cancer care, or a general nursing role in a clinic setting.
• Skills, Attitudes, and Attributes:
• Empathy towards patients and an understanding of their concerns.
• Ability to manage challenging situations with patience.
• Strong communication and active listening skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and email applications.
• Fluent in English and Swahili.
• Ability to multitask effectively.
• Positive attitude and adaptability to change.
