SHL Procurement Assistant Job

The successful candidate will be key in providing support to hospital operations in the provision of care.

Job Description.

  • Analyze the purchase request from the user departments and determine the appropriate method of procurement, Quotation, tender, and request for proposal.
  • Prepare variance analysis for the departments and pharmacies.
  • Inventory management of service equipment stocks in circulation and the store stocks, making requisitions as per reorder levels.
  • Inventory management of the capital equipment and ensuring that all equipment has asset tags and records kept to date.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in procurement or its equivalent
  • Proficiency in pharmaceuticals stock taking
  • General supply chain knowledge
  • At least three years experience in a busy environment. Hospital experience will be an added advantage.
