KMTC Administrative Assistant II Job

An officer at this level will carry out simple general administration duties under close supervision of a senior officer.

Duties will entail:

  • Assisting in maintenance of buildings and equipment; supervision of security activities; ensuring general cleanliness;
  • Supervision of transport; maintenance of records of all College assets and properties including title deeds, log books and insurance covers;
  • Provision of office accommodation; overseeing telephone, registry, secretarial and general office services.

For appointment to this grade a candidate must have:

  •  A Diploma in Administration/Business Management or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;

OR

  • Part I of the Certified Public Secretaries or their recognized equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
  • Proficiency in Computer Applications; and
  • Fulfilled the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution.
