Health Records and Information Management Assistant III – 18 Posts Job County Government of Nandi

Requirements for Appointment
For appointment to this grade, an officer must have: –

  • Certificate in Health Records and Information Technology from a recognized institution;
  • Must be registered by Association of Medical Records Officers (AMRO); and
  • Certificate in computer application skills from ‘a recognized institution.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • This is the entry and training grade for this cadre. An officer at this level will work under the guidance of a more senior officer.
  • Duties and responsibilities will entail: –
  • Receiving and registering patients at hospital reception;
  • Booking appointment for patients to specialty and consultants’ clinics;
  • Storing and retrieving medical records and documents;
  • Preparing clinics;
  • Updating bed bureaus;
  • Capturing data from service points;
  • Maintaining record safety and confidentiality; and
  • Directing patients to relevant clinics.
