Store and Inventory Administrator Job Topking Tyre Center

We are looking for a detail-oriented individual to oversee stock and ensure the smooth operation of our inventory system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and manage the inventory of tools, parts, stocks and supplies. Ensure accurate tracking of stock levels and conduct regular inventory audits.
  • Ensure that the service center has adequate stock of parts and supplies by liaising with the service center manager to place timely orders with suppliers and maintaining minimum stock levels.
  • Keep track of tools used in the service center.
  • Coordinate the maintenance and servicing of tools and equipment, ensuring everything is in proper working order and recommending replacements when needed.
  • Receive incoming shipments of parts, tools, and supplies. Inspect deliveries to verify accuracy and quality, and ensure proper storage.
  • Maintain accurate records of all inventory transactions, deliveries and stock adjustments.
  • Conduct regular stock counts and periodic full inventory audits to ensure inventory accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
  • Ensure all stocks, tools and supplies are stored safely and in compliance with safety regulations. Maintain a clean and organized store area.
  • Manage stock control processes, ensuring that older stock is used first (FIFO method) and that obsolete or slow-moving items are properly accounted for.
  • Develop systems for receiving, logging, tracking and controlling all parts/ tools/ stocks and related documentation daily.
  • Provide general administrative support, including creating purchase orders, handling supplier invoices, and managing paperwork for inventory control.
  • Implement and monitor loss prevention strategies, including tracking discrepancies and identifying potential causes of stock loss.

Qualifications

  • Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Business Management, Procurement and Supplies Management or any other relevant field.
  • Minimum 2 years proven experience in inventory or store management, preferably in an automotive or service environment.
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Knowledge of inventory management systems and tools.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Experience working with suppliers and managing procurement processes.
  • Familiarity with safety standards in a store environment.
