Project Manager Job Rizari

Rizari Limited is a construction and infrastructure development company targeting to offer broad quality services in building, roads and bridges, sewerage works, water supply projects, and other related infrastructure projects.

Role Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Manager with a strong background in the construction industry to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the tendering process, developing new business opportunities, planning and executing construction projects, and ensuring that all activities are completed within the set timelines and budgets. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in both the public and private sectors and be fully conversant with the tendering and procurement processes.

Responsibilities

  • Tendering Process Management
  • Lead and oversee the preparation, submission, and follow-up of tenders for construction
  • projects in both public and private sectors.
  • Develop and review tender documentation, ensuring compliance with industry standards
  • and company policies.
  • Liaise with procurement teams to prepare cost estimates and negotiate terms and
  • conditions with potential clients.
  • Evaluate bids and proposals, making recommendations for award and ensuring that
  • contracts are awarded in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Business Development
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the construction sector.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, clients, and partners to support
  • the company’s growth objectives.
  • Participate in strategic planning sessions, contributing insights based on market
  • research and industry trends.
  • Prepare proposals and presentations for potential clients and partners to secure new
  • contracts and projects.
  • Project Planning and Execution
  • Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, and resources, ensuring
  • alignment with the scope of work.
  • Oversee construction project activities to ensure milestones are met and quality
  • standards are upheld.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, architects, and contractors,
  • to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Conduct regular project status updates, addressing any issues that may arise and
  • ensuring timely completion.
  • Reporting and Compliance
  • Prepare and submit regular progress reports to stakeholders, highlighting key
  • achievements, risks, and mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure all project activities comply with regulatory and industry standards.
  • Conduct post-project evaluations, documenting lessons learned and best practices for
  • future projects.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Construction Management, Procurement, Business

Administration, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in construction project management,
  • including public and private sector work.
  • Proven experience in tendering and procurement processes.
  • Strong knowledge of construction project management principles and practices.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
