Summary
Our client a cleaning company in Nanyuki wants to employ an experienced supervisor to supervise a cleaning team and ensure effectiveness in duty schedules and performance.
Responsibilities
- The supervision of all cleaning staff focussing on their performance in terms of standards of cleanliness and their behaviour while on duty
- Ensuring that a first class cleaning service is delivered to the client
- Reviewing work schedules
- Ordering of cleaning materials
- Monitoring of all cleaning activities
- Keeping duty schedules and roasters
- Help in the recruitment, training and orientation of cleaners
- Ensuring all staff are aware of the Health and Safety policies and procedures
Requirements
- Previous experience in a cleaning company in the capacity of a supervisor
- Previous experience of managing a team
- The ability to implement and adhere to standards and procedures
- Health and Safety experience
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent supervisory and reporting skills
