KCPE Results Out December 29th 2014.

Students who sat for their KCPE exams in 2014 will know their KCPE results come December 29th.

The Education Cabinet Secretary Jacob Kaimenyi is expected to release KCPE results at Mtihani House.

The Kenya National Examination Council CEO Dr Joseph Kivilu said that The 889,000 candidates will know the outcome of their KCPE results by sending their index number to 22252 immediately the results are released.

A statement released by KNEC called on the candidates to ensure that their names, index number school codes and genders were indicated correctly.

For candidates whose results are being withheld, the Kenya National Examination Council announced that letters will be sent to them. The examination body has given the candidates a period of one month to forward any complaints and discrepancies noted in the examination. Last year, exam results of 1,576 candidates were cancelled due to irregularities.

As has been the tradition, there will be no ranking of schools after the cabinet secretary banned the move.

Schools have been earlier ranked according to the counties and the names of the top 10 and bottom 10 primary schools published.

This year’s candidates undertook the exams between November 12 and 14.
