The position of the Exhibition & Events Manager requires to be filled by a qualified Kenyan who will ensure that KTB’s exhibits reflect the destination tourism brand diversity offering and competitive advantage and that all the exhibitors are provided with the necessary facilities to conduct business.

Roles for the Exhibition & Events Manager Job

• Originate and implement exhibitions creative concepts and/or design.
• Prepare and manage the exhibition budget.
• Ensure that the Exhibition Unit is effectively used to support the business objectives of KTB.
• Identify exhibition process improvements that reduce cost, improve quality and allow for the more efficient usage of organizational resources.
• Ensure full implementation of the Quality Management System within the Exhibition Unit.
• Monitor and evaluate the exhibitions’ effectiveness as a marketing tool.
• Negotiate on exhibition locations, materials, space and cost.
• Mentor, coach and provide leadership to the Exhibition team

Exhibition & Events Manager Job Qualifications

The ideal candidate must possess the following:

• Bachelor’s degree in design, fine arts or related field.
• Diploma in Design, Marketing, Public Relations or in a relevant field.
• Masters degree in a related field will be an added advantage.
• At least 5 years experience in exhibition related activities with 3 years in a senior management and supervisory role in a large organization/busy environment.
• Must be able to demonstrate skills in leadership, creativity, ability to multitask and attention to detail.
