Head Of Human Capital & Administration Job at Kenya Tourism Board

The position of the Head of Human Capital & Administration requires to be filled by a qualified Kenyan who will be able to spearhead the development of KTB’s Human Capital and enhance administration of services by developing appropriate policies, strategies and systems in line with the Board’s strategic plan and overall mandate. The position reports to the Chief Executive Officer.

Roles for the Human Capital & Administration Job

  • Ensure there is good work environment with proper ambiance in the office.
  • Manage KTB’s transport service, medical and cleaning services.
  • Prepare and manage the Human Capital and Administration budgets.
  • Develop Annual Work plans and Procurement Plans for Human Capital & Administration and oversee implementation
  • Oversee implementation of Human Capital and Administration related targets in the Performance Contract.
    Mentor, coach and provide leadership to the Human Capital and Administration Department.

Human Capital & Administration Job Qualifications

The ideal candidate must possess the following:

  • Master’s degree in related field.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Commerce, Business or related field.
  • Higher National Diploma in Human Resources Management; or Certified Public Secretary.
  • 8 years experience with at least 5 years at senior management level.
  • Experience in managing at functional level in a large organization/busy environment.
  • Member of Institute of Human Resources Management and should posses a valid Human Resources practicing certificate.
  • Must be able to demonstrate skills in leadership and performance management.
