Reporting and Working Relationships: Director, Agribusiness Programs

The Program Manager will market and sell Executive Education Programs in liaison with the Director, Agribusiness Programs.

The person will build and cultivate sustainable key relationships with potential public and commercial partners, nationally and regionally.

Program Manager Job Responsibilities

  • Selling Agribusiness Executive Education (EE) programs
  • To market Agribusiness EE programs in liaison with the Marketing and Communication manager
  • Plan, Coordinate and implement Agribusiness EE programs throughout the year
  • Evaluate programs and provide feedback and communicate program status with the Director on a regular basis.
  • Maintain program expenditure within budget parameters by working with the program directors and the team to establish and achieve revenue goals.
  • To identify faculty for Agribusiness EE programs in consultation with the Director and the agribusiness academic director.
  • Proposal writing and responding to tenders on Agribusiness Programs
  • Debt Management for assigned programs
  • Program management and administration for assigned programs
  • Faculty interactions (follow up with faculty on materials, request for contracts (HR), follow up on payments (Finance) etc.
  • Any other duties that may be assigned to you from time to time.

Requirements for the Program Manager Job

  • Minimum of 3 years in a sales related position with a proven performance track record, managing client relationships and key account management.
  • Bachelors degree with a minimum of Second Upper Class,
  • Team player, with ability to work with different departments within the business school, faculty and executives in various programs,
  • Should be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and strategic use of social media and other digital services as business tools,
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines,
  • Organizational, interpersonal, communication skills and attention to detail,
  • Ability to guide senior executives and business leaders in their day to day program activities.
