Our phones provide the biggest distraction to us in this digital era.
When you have just a few minutes left to the interview put your phone away for sometime.

Avoid checking your messages and social media accounts.
Always put your phone on silent mode or off to avoid embarrassing moments while in the interview room.
4. Focus on you
This is your golden moment to land that job you have been eagerly hoping and waiting for.
Think about what it is that you would like to be remembered for.
Is it your critical thinking skills, your problem-solving skills, your communication skills, your presentation skills or your mastery of the field?
Thinking of this and ensures that the answers you will give  are inline with this as you respond to the interview questions.
5. Get your papers in order
Never walk in for an interview without your papers.
This may make the interviewer get the impression that you are less interested in the position you are being interviewed for.
Always ensure you carry a copy of your CV, cover letter, your academic certificates and recommendation letters.
Take this moment to countercheck your documents and arrange them in a proper manner.
Let your papers be in your hand as you walk into the interview room.
