Summary

Our client a cleaning company in Nanyuki wants to employ an experienced supervisor to supervise a cleaning team and ensure effectiveness in duty schedules and performance.

Duties & Responsibilities include:

  • The supervision of all cleaning staff focussing on their performance in terms of standards of cleanliness and their behaviour while on duty
  • Ensuring that a first class cleaning service is delivered to the client
  • Reviewing work schedules
  • Ordering of cleaning materials
  • Monitoring of all cleaning activities
  • Keeping duty schedules and roasters
  • Help in the recruitment, training and orientation of cleaners
  • Ensuring all staff are aware of the Health and Safety policies and procedures

Key Requirements

  • Previous experience in a cleaning company in the capacity of a supervisor
  • Previous experience of managing a team
  • The ability to implement and adhere to standards and procedures
  • Health and Safety experience
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent supervisory and reporting skills
