Program Manager Job in Naivasha

Job Location: Outside Naivasha on Malu Rd.

Job Hours: 40 hrs. /week

Beginning: March 1, 2019

Qualification: BA/BSc/HND

Reports to: Executive Director

Our client is looking for: PROGRAM MANAGER

Job Purpose:

The Program Manager is responsible to implement the vision of the organization, and also supervises the work of all staff .Executive leadership through leading and supporting a high functioning team carrying out all activities central to the mission of the organization and in accordance with the budget.

The Program Manager assumes responsibility for oversight of all programmatic strategic functions The Program Manager is responsible to implement the vision of the organization and also supervises the work of all staff.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate a high functioning team
• Manage program vision, activities and outcomes
• Manage budgets and reports
• Manage calendar events
• Ensure relevant standards, process and regulations are upheld
• Manage internal and external communications with staff, partners and government

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in a field related to program management and a minimum of three (3) years’ experience working on management, and/or community-based issues.
• A strong understanding of the Sustainable Development Goals.
• Ability to work with diverse individuals and groups on complex community issues
• Track record of grants and program management
• Knowledge of and interest in technical assistance and communications
• Willingness to engage in continuous learning and training
• Demonstrated professional and political aptitude
