An officer serving in this level will be based in the Headquarters/Sub county workshops and will be attached to a small motor vehicle or plant repair section.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintenance of motor vehicles and plant.
• Inspect and test vehicles and equipment before and after repairs.
• Conduct proficiency test for drivers.

Qualifications

• A diploma (Automotive) or other approved equivalent qualification; and
• A valid driving license.

Terms of service: Permanent

Salary Scale: 23,780 – 29,190 p.m.

Other Allowances are as issued by SRC from time to time

1. Tax compliance certificate from KRA
2. Clearance certificate from HELB
3. Clearance certificate from Ethics and Anti- Corruption Commission (EACC)
4. Certificate of good conduct (DCC)
5. Credit Reference Bureau clearance
