The Hospital is  seeking to attract interested and qualified applicant to fill the position below in the Main Hospital: 

TEAM LEAD – BIOMEDICAL 

REF. NO: AKHK/TLB/M/08/22 

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing leadership to the Biomedical Section of the department. This  includes coordinating the maintenance of medical equipment, orientation and training of users and collaborating with  contractors to ensure that all medical equipment are in good working condition. 

Duties & Responsibilities

• Implementation of the Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) on all medical equipment • Perform corrective maintenance 
• Document all medical equipment related incidences 
• Performing user training on all the medical equipment as per the schedules 
• Ensures the availability of medical gases and maintenance of medical gas plants 
• Ensuring Human Resource & Interdepartmental Relation 
• Ensures delivery of cost-effective services 
• Drives customer service excellence and quality services within the department 

Qualifications

• Degree in Medical engineering or equivalent from a recognized institution. 
• Minimum of five (5) years’ experience, 2 of which should be in similar or Supervisory position in a comparable  organization.  
• Registered and licensed by relevant Engineering body.
