GRANTS MANAGEMENT OFFICER, JOB GROUP KMR 6 – (1 POSITIONGRANTMANSHIP – NAIROBI)

• This is the entry and training grade for this cadre. An officer at this level will work under the guidance and supervision of a Senior Officer.

Job Specifications
The duties and responsibilities at this level will entail: –

• Assisting in preparation of grant budgets
• Supporting in reading and interpreting request for proposal and unsolicited calls
• Contributing to preparation of grant reports for Principal investigators for small grants
• Providing support in reading of grant applications
• Support in maintaining grant schedules for prospective awards.

Person Specification
For appointment to this grade, an officer must have: –

• Bachelor’s degree in any of the following fields: Biomedical sciences, Medical sciences or any other relevant Social sciences from a recognized Institutions;
• Proficiency in computer application;
