Job Description

We are pleased to announce the following vacancy for HR Service Delivery Associate in the Resources Division. In keeping with our current business needs, we are looking for a person who meets the criteria indicated below.

Reporting to the Chapter Lead, HR Service Delivery, the role holder will provide core relevant HR delivery services while ensuring compliance with employment act/standard and company policies and procedures through staff communication, helpdesk administration, document verification and filing, staff badges production and service delivery improvement recommendation.

Responsibilities

  • Provide 1st level of operational support across the business and externally in various HR Services including compliance, leave of absence, information management, on boarding/Exit, internal transfers, benefits and payroll, Staff medical.
  • Analysis and reporting of the HR helpdesk function for decision making and improvement on service delivery.
  • Generating & replacing staff Identification Badges
  • Providing support to various sections in HR with communication and branding of information going out to staff.
  • Responsible for the provision of HR Administration services to support relevant initiatives.
  • Responsible for identifying and resolving Employees issues and challenges daily.
  • Support in creating offer letters for all categories of employees including new hires, fixed-term contracts, promotions, lateral moves, internship, job rotations, relocation, confirmation memos, among others.
  • Support in carrying out HR System updates for all contractual changes (location, manager, grade)
  • Support employees by preparing Visa letters to facilitate visa applications.
  • Preparation of employee referral letters for all exit employees
  • Updating, verifying, and endorsing all documented correspondence coming into HR Operations for filing in the personnel files / portal
  • Up to date staff record maintenance on both Oracle HR system and staff personal files.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree and Higher National Diploma in HRM and /or CHRP-K
  • A minimum of 1 – 2 years’ relevant experience.
  • Strong administrative skills with a flair for technological enhancements 
  • Experience with HR information Systems and standard software
  • Good working knowledge of HR practices and labor legislation.
  • The ability to work with sensitive and confidential information.
