Save the Children Director of Global Fundraising Hub Job

Director of Global Fundraising Hub Job, Current NGO Jobs In Kenya,

Role Purpose:

Save the Children has developed an ambitious Global Funding Framework (GFF) to inform and shift how the movement works together to drive greater funding impact for children. The Global Fundraising Hub Director provides the strategic leadership and direction to a core, globally disbursed team at Save the Children International (SCI), which works across the Save the Children Association (SCA) to grow the movement’s private sector funding through the promotion of best practice, collective action, collaboration, and mutual accountability.

As one of the top priorities of the organization, growing a diversified, sustainable private sector income portfolio is critical to achieving our strategic ambition for children, and success in this area will be dependent on delivering brilliant basics throughout our fundraising portfolio, supporting marketing integration efforts while also promoting innovation in our fundraising programs.

The Communications Director, Engagement Director, and Fundraising Hub Director will work closely together to ensure alignment on priorities, promote integrated workplan, and foster collaboration across their teams with a particular focus on how we continue to strengthen ways of working with members and country offices.

The post holder is an active member of the Senior Management Teams of the Resource Mobilisation, Communication & Engagement (RMCE), a part of the broader SCI/SCA Extended Senior Leadership Team, and an active participant representing global private sector funding interests in multiple Governance Groups such as the Global Funding Task Force, while also providing specific updates to the SCI/SCA CEO and the global board(s) as needed.

The Director provides global leadership and works with Save the Children Member Fundraising and Marketing Directors to deliver the Global Funding Framework, with a particular focus on driving our individual giving portfolio. Using market intelligence, qualitative and quantitative research, trend analysis, and benchmarking they will develop strategies for sharing best practices and organizational learning to deliver our financial targets and to increase our global supporter base.

The Global Fundraising Hub Director will oversee the Global Fundraising Hub including the strategy and planning function, the market development and individual giving teams (acquisition and donor development programs), and lead critical global projects as required.

This role will also be responsible for helping ensure strong collaboration with both the corporate partnership and philanthropy team to ensure that we are developing a strong, aligned approach to stewarding our donors and with the Programme Funding and Institutional Partnership Director on the development of the Global Funding Framework to ensure a holistic view of our funding portfolio.

This role will require leadership and change management skills and strong cross-collaboration throughout our global federated organization to bring greater alignment around our global funding, communications, and engagement work. This will involve working closely with peers in the extended leadership team including the Brand, Marketing, and Digital Director, and Communications Director to help drive our integrated marketing work.

The Global Fundraising Hub Director will act as co-chair of the Fundraising and Marketing Steering Group, which oversees and drives our global private sector work across the membership.
