Qualifications
- be a citizen of Kenya;
- have a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from a university recognized in Kenya;
- have a Post Graduate Diploma in legal studies from the Kenya School of Law;
- been admitted as an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya;
- have a minimum of seven (7) years post-admission experience; and
- meet the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution.
Interested Applicants to note:
- The names of shortlisted candidates for each post shall be published on the Commission’s website;
- Shortlisted candidates will be required to present originals of the following documents during the interviews;
- National Identity Card;
- Academic and Professional Certificates and transcripts;
- Any other supporting documents and testimonials; and
- Clearances from the following bodies:
- Kenya Revenue Authority;
- Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission;
- Higher Education Loans Board;
- Any of the Registered Credit Reference Bureaus;
- Directorate of Criminal Investigations (Police Clearance Certificate); and Recommendations from relevant professional bodies (where applicable).
- The salary and benefits for these positions shall be determined by the Cabinet Secretary on the advice of the Salaries and Remuneration Commission;
- The Chairperson and Members of the Board shall hold office for three years but shall be eligible for re-appointment for a further term.
- The earlier advert for the same positions is hereby canceled; and
- Those who had applied earlier and may wish to be considered for nomination for appointment are advised to re-apply.
