Human Resource Officer Job, Current HR Jobs In Kenya,

Key Responsibilities/Tasks

  • Assist with recruitment and selection process: Seek approvals for vacant positions, prepare adverts, advertise jobs, shortlist and manage scheduling of job candidates for interviews, prepare interview material and interview jobs in line with the university needs and policies
  • Coordinate offer letters and related documents preparation and support / coordinate orientation/induction.
  • Support the learning and development function needs in line with budget, identified training needs as well as with the organization’s employee development plans.
  • Assist with processing work permits and other immigration documents for all new international employees and their families as per University Policies.
  • Assist with Coordination of Performance management with the Heads of department in the implementation of Performance Management system and practice across the University
  • Assist in Coordinating employee Benefits and Welfare programs in line with University needs and best practices.
  • Support all HR administrative duties like leave Management, statutory compliance, creation and maintenance of HR database, and HR correspondence among others.
  • Manage efficient and proper filing and indexing of human resource records.

Educational Qualifications and Professional Experience:

  • Relevant degree from an accredited University.
  • At least 2 years’ experience in a similar position as well as experience using HR information systems.
