Corporate Africa Business Magazines is seeking a Senior Editor to spearhead editorial commissioning, foster relationships with journalists, companies, and political contributors to generate content, conduct interviews, and oversee digital media activities. Additionally, the role involves representing magazines and projects at conferences and exhibitions to conduct interviews. The editor will be working with an assistant and will be fully responsible for the content in all its design.

Responsibilities:

• Commission editorials for Corporate Africa business magazines.
• Develop and maintain relationships with journalists, corporate entities, and political contributors for content.
• Arrange and conduct interviews with relevant personalities and contributors.
• Oversee all digital media content creation and postings.
• Attend conferences and exhibitions to conduct interviews and represent the magazine.

Qualifications:

• Degree in journalism, communications, or related field.
• Exceptional oral and written command of the English language.
• Proven experience in editorial commissioning and content creation.
• Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency in digital media management.
• Willingness to attend conferences and exhibitions for interviews.
