Job Description:
We are looking for a proactive Admissions Officer. He will assist with the end-to-end admissions process for applications, from first contact to enrolment. He will be the initial point of contact for applicants, which will include supporting prospective students in making their application through participation in events, presentations and personal telephone, email and web chat support. You will work closely with other members of the admissions team and with academic colleagues to ensure an efficient and fair application process for all applicants.
Responsibilities:
- To administer the processing of all student applications ensuring that data is effectively inputted, checked and maintained securely and that service standards are met in line with the University’s Admissions Policy.
- Deliver excellent customer service at all times being the first point of contact for applicant enquiries, providing essential information and supporting students in making appropriate choices.
- Provide flexible support to the Schools and Marketing Teams with attendance at key events, by providing essential information and promoting the University brand
- Support the Marketing team in coordinating targeted activity to promote the University and support applicant conversion.
- Play a key role in the dissemination of admission information to ensure effective communication of the process, encourage attendance and deal with enquiries.
- Support at enrolment with the processing of student enrolments, checking information, issuing student ID, providing information and dealing with enquiries, ensuring a positive customer experience.
- Review, monitor and evaluate on a regular basis the effectiveness of the Admissions delivery.
- Maintain a database of student information, telephone logs and student feedbacks in order to generate student reports for management whenever required
- Analyze the applications of prospective students based on standard admission policies.
- Interview students to understand their objectives and background.
- Provide clarifications to student’s queries in a professional manner.
- Follow-up with students for any enquiries through phone calls and emails.
- Advice students about the programs offered, admission procedure, eligibility and costs involved.
- Provide assistance to the students to complete the application forms.
- Review all the students’ applications and refer the students to financial services personnel if required.
- Participate in all events, open houses, school fairs, information sessions, exhibitions, school visits and off-campus events.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or any related field.
- At least 3 years’ experience.
- University experience an added advantage.
