Bluetti Energy Field Collection Officer Job

The main purpose of the Field Collections Officer is to visit and contact customers in arrears to initiate payments, negotiate settlement plans, repossess defaulted customer solar systems, and processing change of ownership for repossessed systems. If agreeable terms cannot be reached, the Collections Officer will initiate escalated collections actions.

Responsibilities

  • Track, locate and visit defaulted customers and implement repayment / collection actions and terms.
  • Ensure allocated accounts are monitored daily and appropriate actions taken to ensure that the collection portfolio remains within accepted limits through the application of sound credit judgment within policy guidelines.
  • Advise defaulted customers on ways of clearing their debts while communicating to them the importance of paying their instalments and consequences of non-payment
  • Update and maintain tracker of customer conversations by updating the history logs on Bluetti database and other relevant database applications.
  • Adhere to the set policy on loan recoveries and collections.
  • Make recommendations to the sales team, when appropriate, for stronger collection actions including repossession.
  • Work closely with external agencies on debt collection and recoveries.
  • Train sales agents on credit portfolio management, loan follow up and defaulted customer management.
  • Reporting and analysis, send a summary analysis of collections done daily on allocated accounts.
  • Perform any other related function as assigned by the management from time to time.

Experience/ Skills & Competencies/ Education

  • Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related studies
  • Previous experience in Debt Collection (field) preferred (at least 2 year)
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong analytical & problem-solving skills.
  • Motorbike rider’s license
  • Advanced Excel proficiency
  • Excellent persuasion and convincing skills, result-oriented and self-driven
