Job Specification

Duties and responsibilities

  • Ensures sufficient supply and distribution of electrical power, gas and green energy to residents of Konza Technopolis;
  • Supervises the construction of electrical power, gas and green energy facilities in Konza Technopolis.
  • Reviews proposals, plans and designs for construction of electrical power, gas and green energy facilities submitted to the Konza Technopolis Authority by consultants and contractors.
  • Designing, installation and commissioning of electrical systems

Person Specification

For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have: –

  • Diploma in any of the following disciplines: – Electrical engineering, power option or Telecommunications Option) offered by Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC) or other equivalent qualifications from recognized Institution;
  • Be registered with Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA); and
  • Proficiency in Computer applications.

Successful candidates shall be required to comply with requirements of Chapter six of the constitution and will be required to submit among other documents:

  • Certificate of Good Conduct from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations;
  • Clearance Certificate from the Higher Education Loans Board;
  • Tax Compliance Certificate from the Kenya Revenue Authority;
  • Dully filled and stamped Self-Declaration/Clearance from the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC);
  • A Clearance Certificate from an approved Credit Reference Bureau (CRB).
