Qualifications

  • PhD in Public Health in any of the following specialties; Epidemiology, Occupational Health and Safety, Water Sanitation and Hygiene, Health Education and Promotion, Public Health Engineering, Community Health.

OR

  • A Master’s Degree in Epidemiology, Occupational Health and Safety, Water Sanitation and Hygiene, Health Education and Promotion, Public Health Engineering, Community Health with at least three (3) years full time teaching experience at University level as Assistant lecturer or Tutorial Fellow or in Research or Industry and with evidence of registration for a PhD in a relevant area.
  • In addition, applicants with a Masters Degree must have the following;
    • A Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health
    • Valid practice license
    • A minimum of 24 Publication points of which at least sixteen (16) should be form referred journals.
    • Show evidence of Attendance and Contribution at learned conferences, seminars or workshops.
    • Be active member of a Professional body
