Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate Imaging Equipment: Skillfully operate X-ray machines, CT scanners, ECG machines, and Ultrasound devices to capture high-quality diagnostic images.
  • Patient Preparation: Prepare patients for imaging procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety, and providing clear instructions on the process.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and calibration of imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.
  • Record Keeping: Accurately document patient information, imaging results, and procedure details in the medical records system.
  • Compliance and Safety: Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and infection control protocols.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other medical staff, including radiologists, nurses, and administrative personnel, to ensure efficient workflow in a fast-paced environment.
  • Patient Care: Provide compassionate care and support to patients, addressing any concerns or questions they may have regarding the imaging procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Diploma or degree in Radiologic Technology, Medical Imaging, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2+ years of experience working with X-ray machines, CT scanners, ECG machines, and Ultrasound equipment in a busy medical setting.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting medical imaging equipment.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with patients and healthcare professionals.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in image capturing and documentation.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
