Duties and Responsibilities

• Undertaking training in areas of specialization in accordance with the syllabus,
• Preparing teaching/learning materials and schemes of work;
• Setting and marking examination/assignment;
• Carrying out research world under the guidance and supervision of a senior trainer; and
• Supervising trainees’ projects and practical work

Requirements for appointment;

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (Welding and Fabrication) or equivalent qualification from a recognized Institution;
• Must be registered by TVET Authority or registrable by TVETA;
• Training in Competency Based Education and Training (CBET) curriculum or Technical Education will be an added advantage
