What makes you fit for this position? Why do you think this position is right for you? What makes it the best role for you? These are among the common interview questions, and they all narrow down to one thing: why should we hire you?
It is very tempting to be straightforward and say, ‘Because I need the money and the job.’ but here’s a pro tip: Don’t!
The reason why employers ask this question is because they want to know if you have an idea of what skills are needed in that job. Additionally, they desire to find out whether you really have a good skill set and how much of a benefit you make for the company, assuming it assigns you that specific role.

1. Do a lot of research on the company
Every company has unique values, visions, missions, and people. You can learn about this by reading about the company or looking at its website, LinkedIn, and other social media pages.

3. Narrow down your strengths
Once you’ve determined the skills and experience needed for the job and the company’s mission and goals, you can narrow down your strengths related to the position and company.
Choose up to seven relevant professional qualities or strengths that fit the position and write them down. Your skills are your biggest selling point. That’s what lands you a role.
Though you may or may not have much experience, if your skills stack up well and you can show what you can do with them, your chances of securing the position will skyrocket.
4. Use quantifiable examples
It is important to give examples based on measurable attributes that make you suitable for the job you applied for.

5. Practice your answers
The final step is to practice. Now that you’ve gotten all your talking points down, you’ve got to. You can request help from somebody you’re comfortable with and ask them to interview you.
