Job Requirements
A person shall be qualified for appointment to the position of Counsel County Transactions if that person; –
- Holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from a recognized University.
- Is a practicing Advocate of the High court of at least four years post admission experience.
- Holds a valid practicing certificate.
- Demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills
- Demonstrates professional competence in work performance and results.
Job Description
- Drafting County legal instruments.
- Offering legal advice to County Sectors on procurement matters.
- Drawing up conveyancing instruments on behalf of the County sectors and entities.
- Advising County sectors, departments and entities on procurement.
- Vetting contracts, agreements and land conveyance instruments for and on behalf of the County Government and its entities.
- Any other duty that may be assigned from time to time.
